In order to help CCGs and their practices effectively commission appropriate leadership programmes we have created a web based Development Needs Analysis. Completion of this web based tool in no way ties the CCG or its member practices to working with Catch On Group.

Assessment Tool 1: Leadership & Management

Our latest assessment tool, which is part of the Cogniso "Equipped for the Future" programme, is designed to help you gauge leadership and management skill gaps. This is available in two separate modules.

  • Module 1 : This is for Clinical Commissioning Groups' Governing Body Members
  • Module 2 is for Lead GPs/Practice Managers

The success of CCGs is significantly dependent upon the quality and calibre of the leadership team. Although 'early days', it is critically important to understand the development needs of the governing body leadership members and the practices themselves as partners in this approach to commissioning.

Once completed your entered results will create:

  • Individual CCG governing body members reports.
  • Consolidated CCG governing body report.
  • Individual practice reports.
  • Consolidated practice report for CCG governing body.
  • Recommendations on the way forward.

Ideally, all members of your CCG governing body should complete the assessment. That way, we will be able to present personal development needs profiles for each individual and a global perspective for the team.

In addition, if you would like each of your practices to also benefit from an analysis of a self assessment they too can complete Module 2. This will provide a report for each practice and an overview gap analysis for the CCG.
